02/02 -

I drew this LATE the night before a big mid-term test that I was completely stressed out about. (Incidently when I'm completely stressed out of my mind I draw the best stuff... I drew the Vegeta holding Bra picture that night as well O_o) Anyway, I think I like this picture a lot for the simple fact that I wasn't TRYING to draw well, or even make the characters look like DBZ characters. I just grabbed a pencil pen and some pencil crayons and 20 minutes later I had a very quick very Marie-style DBZ picture.

I had just seen the Piccolo death scene a couple of days previous where Piccolo sacrifices himself for the kid. It's just very touching how he developed feelings for Gohan despite himself. And Gohan needed a father figure too... and a protector and above all a friend. ^_^

03/19/02 - "Awe Mr. Piccolo... it's little, cute, sweet, adorable and innocent and it loves you! Now what are you going to do with it?"

Inspiration for this came from a doujinshi scan I saw of Goku and Piccolo. I didn't copy it, but they were in about the same position. Ano... Goku had cloths on though methinks. ^_^

Wing Picture #3 *warning*

04/12/02 -This took me approximately 10 - 15 hours over the space of three weeks to finish, from very rough sketch to finished product. The motivation? I wanted to create something beautiful and teenaged Gohan x Piccolo related. ^_^ Needless to say, I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out. ^_^

Technique: I used pencil, pen and ink and finally pencil crayon to color it. There was nothing I used to copy off of, nor anything really that inspired this, beyond the fact that I wanted to put a bit of that Seimaden-like gothic feel into it. I also wanted to play with wings more... the pencil sketch of this was created just before my Android 18 picture and just after my Goku/Vegeta picture was done. (I have a thing for wings in case you can't tell ^_^) I was quite surprised... I never really saw Piccolo as something that could look so... exotic before this. O_o
